Neurotransmitters
Neurotransmitters are chemicals that neurons use to communicate with one another. In this video, I cover synapses (where neurotransmitter signaling typically occurs), neurotransmitter receptors, and the use of enzymes and reuptake to terminate neurotransmitter signaling. Then, I go into more detail with six examples of neurotransmitters: acetylcholine, dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, glutamate, and GABA.
