Neurodegenerative Diseases
Neurodegenerative diseases are characterized by the degeneration and death of neurons. In this video, I first discuss some general characteristics and common pathologies of neurodegenerative diseases. Then, I go into more detail with five examples of neurodegenerative diseases: Parkinson's Disease, Huntington's disease, Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and multiple sclerosis (MS).
